chords and lyrics ChordGrid - Creating Awesome Chords On The Jazzmutant Lemur

I spent the weekend creating a touch interface on the Jazzmutant Lemur called ChordGrid.

(This version has the wrong chord labels (A# should be Db in VII for example), but since recording the video I've fixed that.)

The interface is a chord progression grid. I've created one for both the minor and major scale. At the moment these are 7th's but I plan to extend it for other chords.

This technique is used by many producers and can be heard a lot in Hudson Mohawke's music. I see a lot of questions on how Mohawke creates his chords and the chances are he does something similar.

I can not confirm whether or not this works on the iPad versions ... I've never used Liine's port of the Lemur. It probably doesn't.
